Our Story

Pitch was founded six years ago by PGA professional coaches Elliot Godfrey and Chris Ingham, who sought to redefine the golf experience. Rather than just a sports club, they envisioned Pitch as a lifestyle brand—a place where golf seamlessly blends with socialising, great food and drinks and music. With decades of experience in the game, the pair set out to create a space that would cater to everyone, from seasoned players to those picking up a club for the first time.

Their goal was to design an environment where everyone could relax, enjoy delicious food and drinks, and connect with friends in stylish surroundings. Today, Pitch stands as a vibrant social hub, combining competition, relaxation, and socialisation, all while making golf accessible and enjoyable for all.

From Humble Beginnings to Expanding Internationally

What started as a small setup has quickly grown into multiple venues across London, becoming a space where golf feels accessible, social, and fun for everyone. Every new venue has brought us closer to this goal, and it’s been amazing to see the community of players, members, and partners grow with us.

Now, we’re taking things to the next level with our first international venue open in Dublin, making Pitch a part of Ireland’s vibrant golf scene. And in the new year, we’ll be opening in both Birmingham and Manchester, extending Pitch beyond London and into the heart of the UK’s biggest cities. Each location brings a unique local flavour but retains the Pitch feel.

Women's Beginner Golf Academy

Off the back of the successful women’s Pitch Purpose events created by Pitch COO Jess Ormrod, adidas have partnered with Pitch to sponsor five bi-monthly events and 100 beginners’ lesson packages at Pitch annually.

The initiative has seen the formation of the Pitch | adidas Women’s Beginner Golf Academy, where 100 women receive five lessons and five practice hours, as well as events, each with a different theme, open publicly to women.
